Raspberry Pi Now Selling
The season's hottest hobby-kit for electronics and embedded computing enthusiasts, Raspberry Pi, started selling. The device is a fully-functional, self-contained, ARM-powered computer, complete with modern interfaces such as SDHC, USB, HDMI, and Ethernet (USB and Ethernet with $35 Model B), for as low as $25. The device can be powered up using Fedora Remix for Raspberry Pi, a Fedora ARM variant that's heavily optimized for the device. The Raspberry Pi is now available (limited to one quantity per customer), through Premier Farnell or RS Components.

Edit: Looks like Farnell sold off their entire stock, and RS won't be available until later this week. No word on whether RS will sell them in the US, but the RPi doesn't even exist on the page of their US site. Also, from what I understand, RS only deals with individuals in the UK. Export is strictly corporate-only.

No US option on the Farnell site? What happened to buying it on raspberrypi.com? They were developed at a US university.. Why did they take the forum down? Disappointed. :ohwell:
On the other hand, if the Chinese get their hands on these, expect the price to go down to $15! :D
A device like this is a lot more appealing to me as being based on an OS i can add codecs and update them when necessary.
I just wish there were more options like this, if these are £16-22, what could i get for £50-70?
Something with 7.1pcm via hdmi (ALL pc audio, not just blu-ray pass through) would be awesome.
and can install android ?
